Immediate Care for Medical Emergencies

The Accident and Emergency Department at Mansa Memorial Hospital provides rapid assessment and initial treatment for patients presenting with urgent and potentially life-threatening conditions.

Patients may arrive without an appointment with symptoms such as severe headache, chest pain, abdominal pain, difficulty breathing, collapse of an unknown cause, severe injuries, or other medical emergencies requiring immediate attention.

Our Emergency Department is staffed by trained healthcare professionals who are equipped to assess, stabilise, and begin treatment promptly. We provide timely emergency care while ensuring patients receive the most appropriate level of treatment based on the severity of their condition.

Putting Patients First in Every Emergency at Mansa Memorial

For patients requiring specialised services or advanced interventions beyond the scope of our facility, we coordinate rapid stabilisation and referral to higher-level centres such as Ejisu Government Hospital, Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, or another healthcare facility of the patient’s choice whenever possible. Our priority is to ensure every patient receives safe, timely, and seamless emergency care.

Whether managing minor emergencies or stabilising critically ill patients for transfer, our team is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality emergency services with professionalism, efficiency, and respect for every patient and family.
